What is Dear Lottery (Lottery Sambad)?
Dear Lottery — popularly called Lottery Sambad across Bengal, the North-East and Tamil Nadu — is the umbrella name for the daily paper lotteries run by the state governments of Nagaland, Sikkim and West Bengal. Three draws are held every single day of the year: 1 PM (Dear Morning), 6 PM (Dear Day) and 8 PM (Dear Evening / Night).
Each draw has its own weekly scheme name that rotates with the day of the week, and each scheme prints its own ticket series. The top prize on the flagship Nagaland draws is ₹1 crore, which is why the 1 PM and 8 PM results are the most searched lottery queries in India.
Results are declared by the state lottery department and published as an official bulletin. We reproduce the winning numbers as factual data and always link the original bulletin so you can verify before you claim.
How we source and check every result
Every number on this site is copied from the official result bulletin published by the state lottery department for that draw. We do not generate numbers, and we do not guess them — if a draw has not been declared, the slot says "result awaited" rather than showing something invented.
Each result card carries a direct link to the original bulletin so you can verify the winning number yourself before you claim. If a number on this page ever disagrees with the bulletin, the bulletin is correct and we fix ours.
We are an independent information service. We are not a lottery operator, we do not sell tickets, we have no affiliation with any state lottery department, and we will never ask you to pay for a result, a "guaranteed" number or a claim service.
- Source: official state lottery result bulletin for each draw.
- Verification: the bulletin link is on every result card — check before you claim.
- We do not sell tickets and cannot tell you a number in advance.

How our live update works
We read the official result bulletin for each draw and publish the winning numbers here. When a draw has not been declared yet, the slot shows "result awaited" rather than a placeholder — we would rather show nothing than show something wrong.
Because the bulletin is the source of truth, the official PDF link is on every result card. If a number on this page ever disagrees with the bulletin, the bulletin wins and we correct it.
How to verify before you claim
Never trust a single screenshot. Cross-check the winning number on this page against the official bulletin linked on every result card, then match your physical ticket digit by digit.
Claims above ₹10,000 must be submitted to the concerned state lottery office with the original ticket, identity proof and a claim form. Smaller prizes can normally be collected from any authorised retailer in the state.
Play responsibly
Lottery tickets are entertainment, not income. The odds of hitting the 1st prize on a daily Dear draw are roughly one in a crore, and no system, guessing formula or "machine number" changes that.
Set a fixed monthly spend you can afford to lose, never borrow to buy tickets, and never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed winning number. Lotteries are for players aged 18 and above.
Frequently asked questions
How do I verify a winning number?
Match your ticket against the sheet on this page, then confirm against the official bulletin linked on every result card. Never rely on a forwarded screenshot.
Is playing the Dear Lottery legal?
Lotteries run by state governments are legal in the states that organise them. Interstate online sale is restricted, so buy from a licensed retailer in person and keep the receipt.
Can I predict the winning number?
No. Every draw is an independent random event. Any site, Telegram group or WhatsApp broadcast that sells "guaranteed" numbers is running a scam.
